Henk Antvelink

Circle Coaching & Consulting was established by Henk Antvelink.

Henk provides executive coaching and consulting services to individuals and organisations. Henk’s insight, accessibility, open mind, personable style and credibility in working with people at all levels, coupled with his extensive experience as both an HR leader and organisational change agent, make him an effective executive coach, trusted advisor and facilitator of change. In some assignments and where this adds value, Henk collaborates with other partners.

As HR transformation manager and facilitator of change, he has also undergone a transformation experience himself, in which his business drive and perspective has broadened from partnering with business leadership as HR leader to facilitating organisational change, coaching leaders in personal transformation and guiding organisations in organisational and culture change, determining values and impacting behaviours. Working with the consciousness and the unconsciousness, he enjoys to help people and businesses discover their identity and possible new meaning and purpose.

This is also where his coaching focuses, helping executives, professionals and individuals on a change journey where they can find more more fulfillment of their potential, more balance and more effective process in their lives.  Henk’s intensive curiosity and coaching style effectively helps coachees explore and discover and move forward in their own coaching journey.

Previously Henk has partnered with senior business leaders to achieve business objectives and has built organisational capabilities and developed talent by implementing and leading human resources (HR) activities such as succession planning, leadership development, staffing and talent management, performance management, organisational development and change management.  

​

In addition, he has worked on several complex organizational changes impacting international business operations as well as high-impact culture and behavioural change interventions and mergers and acquisitions support consultation from a people perspective. His extensive experience in HR leadership roles, covers a multitude of industry segments and several international companies, including e.g. Royal Dutch Shell, SES Global, Oracle (formerly Sun Microsystems), General Electric, Zimmer Biomet and IDEXX Laboratories.  He has also worked at International Organisations like NATO and OPCW. Henk holds a MBA degree from the University of Teesside in the UK and an Executive Masters degree in Consulting and Coaching for Change from INSEAD in France.  He is a certified Cultural Transformation Tools (CTT) consultant (Barrett Values Centre) and a certified practitioner of the Leadership Circle Profile 360 assessment, the EQi 2.0 & EQ360 Emotional Intelligence tools and the Prosci ADKAR change management model and tools.  

 

Henk is married and lives with his partner in The Hague, Netherlands, and he enjoys travelling, sailing, golfing, cycling, walking and reading.
